The auditorium –the ancient market created by the architect Ferreres- is renovated, but preserving the current room open towards the Market Gardens. Two glass walls allow to see the garden from the interior of the building. The garret or authorities’ box without any contact to the lateral walls, lightens up the relation between the former room and the newly created piece. The covering of wood setting, lateral support areas, and panelling of the service rooms of the ground and first floor, contribute to the same effect. The structure of the solid brick and metal view, together with the lamps, that tune with the pre-industrial age, in groups of four, reinforce the image of unity of the four pavilions of the ancient market.
